bryanzilla: ([David & Sawyer] Have no fear)
As much as Bryan had wanted nothing more than to roll over and wake David up that morning, he somehow refrained. He could even think of a couple of ways to wake him that he knew David wouldn't mind, but he decided it was best to let him sleep in. It had taken a lot of self-control on his part, too, and the only person who would have verbally recognized and praised him for exhibiting that kind of restraint was asleep.

He's excited, and rightfully so, he thinks. It's their very first Father's Day, with an actual, human baby and everything, not just as proud (maybe even ever so slightly obnoxious) doggy daddies. They're still stuck in this horrible, strange city, but that's barely a thought in his head. It doesn't matter where they celebrate it, really. The fact that they get to is more than enough for today.

With Smelly already taken for an early walk, Sawyer changed, dressed, fed and his crib even decked out for the occasion, Bryan is at work in the kitchen, preparing breakfast. Smelly is, of course, at his side the entire time, hopeful that he'll drop something or that Bryan will eventually take pity on him. He's seen many a young actor and actress use those same, sad eyes on him when they wanted more lines, solos or a day off, and all to no avail. He has ice water in his veins. Until the day rolls around when Sawyer figures out how all that works and he folds like a house of cards.
