bryanzilla: ([Sawyer] He's on the run)
Sawyer had gone silent about ten minutes ago, nodding off mid-sentence beside Bryan.

Bathed, teeth brushed and in his pajamas, the little boy had insisted that he wanted to read to his sister and should be the one in charge of the bedtime story tonight. Charlotte had dozed off in his arms soon after him, nearly finishing off a bottle while Sawyer rambled on.

Now, in bed with two sleeping babies, this is the stuff Bryan looks forward to all day when he leaves for work. He's grateful that he's able to provide for the people he loves doing what he loves, but of course he misses being home and spending more time with them. It's bittersweet, because at the same time, he's happy that David gets a chance to experience what he got to.

He might be a bit less happy about it when Charlotte starts reaching her big milestones, but that's what phones with recording capabilities are for.

"If you don't move him I will absolutely just let him sleep here," Bryan warns David. He knows they need to keep their boundaries in place and that allowing Sawyer to sleep there once might open up the door to him wanting to continue to sleep there. Right now, though, he doesn't care. So David has to.
